Residential Handyman Services
There are plenty of jobs you can do yourself – there's a ton of videos on YouTube to show you how to do them and no shortage of hardware chains that will tell you how easy it is – as long as you buy their tools and materials. But the how-to videos and advice don't tell the full story. Firstly you have to give up your own time to fixing stuff if you're going to full DIY and we're ready to bet you have other things you'd rather do so the job gets put off. Secondly no two homes are the same and that job that looks really easy in the video so often turns out to be a bit more complicated when it's your hands taking the thing apart. Thirdly you can always try yourself but it's kind of nerve wracking for some jobs, tiring for others, and how often have you looked at the result and thought maybe that could have looked better. We're professionals at this so we know exactly what to do for an amazing range of those 'little' jobs around the house. We'll get it right, first time, with professional quality results. Which means the job gets done, instead of being put off, and you don't end up buying a ton of screws, tools, and fittings that turn out not be right for what you need. Take a look around your home, could you do with a handyman to tidy things up and make them just nicer to live with? Sure you could. Everyone could. So call.
We've seen this a lot. Someone with a little more can-do attitude than skill or experience tried to fix something only for it not to go quite right. Happens all the time. Maybe it was you, maybe it was someone you love dearly, maybe you inherited it. We don't make a fuss about it, we just put it right so you don't have to keep looking at it. And who knows. If it was a repair you nearly got right and would like to know how to do then our handymen are a heck of a lot more helpful and hands on than YouTube.
Things break. It's a fact of life. Homes are so full of stuff now that the simple wear and tear of everyday life will take its toll on fixtures, fittings, and gadgets. So when they do just call us and we'll repair it. Whatever it happens to be.
Sure the guy at the store said it was a doddle to install but the instructions either are, or might as well be in Chinese and the thing you're looking at doesn't look like the thing in the picture. Plus you don't want bad things to happen, or you're worried about voiding the warranty. There are a hundred reasons why it's great to have a friendly handyman turn up, install it, and check it works before going. So have us turn up when it's delivered.
Houses need a lot of TLC and homeowners usually have a lot of other things to worry about, like families and lives to get on with. So have our handymen take care of maintaining everything from woodwork to checking plumbing and electricity before Winter. You'll be glad you did.
